Itimad Ud Daulah
The tomb of Itimad Ud Daulah was commissioned by Nur Jahan, wife of the Mugal Emperor Jehangir, setting a trend of marble construction among the mughals. This beautiful building is sometimes referred to as Baby Taj, and is regarded as the inspiration for the Taj Mahal, which was built by Jehangir’s son Shah Jahan as a mausoleum for his wife.
