Nunchuk’s horrible day
Hello, my name is Nunchuk, and this is the story of the worst day of my life. (Mom says: “Yet”)
First, mom took me to this horrible place that had tons of water, but NO GRASS to run on. What was she thinking? I sat by the edge and barked at her, but she was ignoring me. Today was not going to be a good day.

Eventually, she found a zero-depth entry, and tried to make peace by plying me with lots of treats.

At first, I hated the feel of water on my feet. Then I hated the feel of water on my knees. When I accidentally walked ahead, I turned around and realized my mom had NOT followed me. Not only was I belly-deep in water now, I was ALL.ALONE. I froze for a while. I swam a bit, but when I stood again, it was as scary as ever.

Eventually, I found a nice island. I’m not posing, I’m escaping the liquid substance.

Many meals worth of treats later, I agreed to fetch a ball from the water. Every time I brought the ball to dry land, she threw it back in the water. If I am such a “good boy” for bringing the ball, why not let it stay where I put it?!

To make things worse, she tried to make me jump by tossing it off an insanely high ledge. “Its only one foot”, she said. But WHOSE FOOT? I made her wade in after that ball. I was done.

Just when I thought the torture was over, guess what mom did? She took me for a bath! I made her carry me into the raised tub, and looked sad the entire time. I even tried to jump out when she used the blower, but held on because she fed me tons of minnows. Did they come from that awful creek?
To cap off my WORST DAY EVER, the torture trifecta ended with a nail trim. Please come adopt me, because this mom is clearly not nice any more. Thank you.

Funny Nunchuk!
Dear Nunchuck,
I am sorry you had to experience such a terrible day. I totally agree with you that one cannot trust this liquid stuff and of course I am equally sure there are many tiny and even more creepy things (with even smaller feet than you have) living in any creek, lake or even ocean.
But as you are a big and strong dog I am also sure your Mom would not put you trought things you can not manage. And after all: Hey, you are still alive!
Secretly (just between the two of us): If she had done this to me, I would never speak to her again. No no no!
So congrats on surviving so far! And if you should still be looking for a new place and a more caring family I think it won‘t be so much hard work to talk Micha into adopting you. And you know what? In Germany we have some real winters so we can place lots of that white stuff we call snow at your disposal.
Big hug, big boy!
I hate to admit it, but I saw a snake in the water when we were out. O_o I didn’t tell Nunchuk though. Btw, his bags are packed. You & Micha can come get him 😀
Snake???????? I always knew it. Ha.
Do not lead us into temptation! As if you could let him go – never ever!
