My cool new purse
My kid bought me a purse, and it is the cutest thing ever- both the purse and how he bought it for me.
Fourth graders in his school accrue “AR” (Accelerated Reader) points for the books they read. At the end of the school year, they get to use all their AR points as currency in an auction. As a part of their writing assignments, they write letters to various businesses and organizations soliciting donations for this auction. Several items (like this one) are donated by parents as well. When Ro saw this purse at the auction, he decided he had to buy it for me. He saved up his points, and outbid the others to buy this gift. What an utterly adorable thing to do!
If you see me strutting around town rocking my leopard-print purse, now you know why. Make sure you tell Ro how cute the purse is 🙂 We got two unsolicited compliments on the purse today, and he was grinning ear to ear. <3
