Thankful Pumpkin
Ro’s class made a paper pumpkin, with each strip of paper mentioning something they were thankful for. I thought it was a wonderful idea to teach kids about gratitude, and not taking things for granted. Here are Ro’s important things in life:
Animals, food and life.
And the others: days (time?), my family, friends, bugs, stores (!). I love the stuff kids come up with when they are free from the biases of convention.
