New Orleans, Day 1
One crisp weekend in Jan, we took off for a small airport near New Orleans, to spend a weekend celebrating Tracy’s 40th birthday.

Ro was, as usual, a trooper in the airplane. We loaded the iPad up with movies for him. As soon as we landed, we got ourselves some coffee, and Ro licked his stirrer stick.

The we went into downtown New Orleans (NoLa), and enjoyed the view, including people in curious costumes,

and street music.

We then went on a cemetery tour. I know it sounds morbid, but this cemetery was fascinating, with family plots where generations of people from the same family were buried.

We concluded the evening with a fine dinner at Cochon. I had delicious oysters. Look and be jealous 🙂
