Enchanted Rock
Enchanted rock is a massive granite rock dome an hour and a half west of Austin. It is a popular hiking & climbing destination. We went out a few weekends ago to hike up with a bunch of little kids. Those tiny legs outrun the adults like crazy! Here is Ro, taking a break with his buddy. They led the line for a long time and consented to wait while the grownups took a water break 🙂 [As always, apologies for the quality of the phone pic. My camera is too big to hike with.]
It was a fun day, and everyone slept well that night! Next time, we’ll climb it instead of hiking. That’s the plan anyway 🙂
