First School Bus Ride
About two years ago, Ro had his first ever bus ride. I was completely unprepared. I forgot my camera. I was just in time, so I couldn’t run back home. And I was preparing for a kindergartener to break down and cry “Mommy!”. So all we ended up with was a far-away photo taken on Marc’s phone, from around the corner of the block. Ro didn’t cry – he just waltzed into the bus saying “Bye mom!”. It was a surreal and anti-climactic morning. I uploaded the picture and apparently never hit “Publish”.
This morning, while reviewing my list of unpublished posts, I found this picture of Ro climbing into the bus, not a care in the world. As seen from rather far away 🙂 Better late than never, they say. So I’ll hit Publish today.
