Mosel River trip
We started our Mosel river experience by visiting Burg Eltz. This castle had been privately owned by the same family for 33 generations! Burg Eltz was built and added to over 500 years, from the 12th to the 15th century. Much of the original furnishing is preserved. Unfortunately no photography was allowed inside.
We drove straight to the little town of Cochem. By “we”, this time I mean me! I hauled it on the autobahn and then on winding forest roads, bringing us safely to Cochem.
