X-Games
2016 was the last year that the X-Games were being hosted in Austin, and I was determined to make it. Tickets and parking pass were purchased on advance, and the weather forecast was being checked every day. Come Sunday, we were thrilled to see the sun out, and off we went!
BMX finals – these guys were gravity defying. And yes, they were all guys. FOLKS! GET YOUR DAUGHTERS OUT THERE!

Then we saw the Slackline finals. I didn’t even know this was a part of the X-Games, but I enjoyed it immensely. These guys were gymnasts! Again- no girls, which was even more shocking since I feel like every little girl is learning gymnastics and ballet. I bet they would rock at this.
This dude came all the way from Japan to compete!
This dude was Brazilian, and looked like he had just finished deep meditation. Didn’t break a sweat or even a frown.

Another Japanese contender. This guy was only 14! Apparently the youngest contestant in the finals! He was pretty fantastic!
