Luau
Our friends told us this was a fertility totem, and that they knew 2 couples who conceived after touching it. Of course, we signed up right away to be the counter example.
The mini crew had a blast too!
Inspired by the Lu’au, I’m going to try my hand at Polynesian cooking!

Aloha Meera, seems as you have been to Lahaina for the Luau. We also enjoyed this traditional feast there and liked it very much. What do you think about poi? We both tasted it and – well, for us it is not a cook again…..
Oh, and good luck – the totem is surely trying to succeed with a vengeance =)
Danni – I completely agree with you on poi. Not worth eating. They had a taro cake too as a side, and I thought that was good.
